SIMPLE CREAMY 'CHEESE' SAUCE
VEGAN - GLUTEN FREE
MAKES: 2 serves
PREP + COOK TIME: 3 hrs (soak time) + 10 min
1 cup raw cashew nuts or hemp seeds (soaked in hot water for at least 3 hours)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup plant based mylk (we used almond)
3-4 tbsp Knowrish Well Better Cheddar powder
1/8 tsp himalayan salt
- Drain cashew nuts well and add all ingredients in a food processor and blend well – if mixture is too thick just add 2 or more tbsp milk and 1tbsp oil
