CHEESY BUTTER BOARD
Sleigh your Christmas spread with this deliciously easy and oh so cheesy ‘butter’ board. Packed full of festive flavour and bursting with cheesy goodness thanks to our Better Cheddar, this spreadable dish is here to please a crowd. Get creative and customize your board however you wish, our faves are fresh herbs, edible flowers and an extra sprinkle of Better Cheddar.
VEGAN & GLUTEN-FREE

WHAT I NEED
DRY INGREDIENTS
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1 ¼ tbsp Sprinkle Knowrish Well Better Cheddar
- ½ tsp flakey sea salt/ pink himalayan salt
- ¼ tsp Garlic powder
- 1 cup natural cashew (soaked and drained)
- 2 tsp Fresh parsley /lemon thyme
- ⅛ tsp Knowrish Well Wild Fields
- 1 tsp Chili flakes & 1 tsp smoked paprika ( optional)
WET INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup oat milk
TOPPINGS
- Edible flowers (optional)
- Seeds & nuts
- Herbs
MAKE
- Soak the cashew in boiling water, cover the container and leave for 1 hour then drain
- Roughly Soften the nut butter in a bowl. Combine all dry ingredients and keep refrigerated
- In the meantime, combine the cashews and milk in a high powered food processor until the sauce is thick, smooth. Then add the butter mixture with the cashew sauce
- Spread this mixture on a wooden charcuterie board (butter mixture should be soft but not melted for best results).
- Sprinkle with toppings and serve with gluten free bread, crackers and chopped summer veggies.

TIPS
- Assemble cheese board on baking paper if you don’t want to get your wooden board dirt
- Make sure that butter mixture is made in a cool temperature kitchen
- Blend the cashew and milk mixture thoroughly so its very fine and smooth
- If butter mixture is too runny , put in the fridge for at least 15-20 minutes
